Social Media Club – Cease & Desist

Social Media Club hosted a fascinating session at Launch Pad last night featuring an esteemed panel of legal experts.  Topics discussed included cease & desist orders, copyright, fair use, libel, and creative commons.  It was a great discussion and I think everyone learned a lot.

Panelists were:

• Ray Areaux – Chair of IP Practice at Carver Darden
• Ernest Svenson – Svenson Firm & Ernie The Attorney Blog
• Brian Oberkirch – Small Good Thing
• Suzette Becker – Becker Entertainment Law
